Side with the blockade against the oppressed
Denouncing the violence of the uprising
As if it does not mirror the ongoing intentional genocide
Some people who should know better
Speak as if there is an equivalence on both sides
Faulting the occupied along with the occupiers
Pressured into saying the resistance is wrong
But there is no denying Palestine belongs to the Palestinians
Not the religious settler colony named Israel
To those who have the right of return after being forcibly dispossessed
By an expansionist regime armed and beholden to this country
Here where criticism of Zionism is not allowed
Any voices of dissent who speak up are ostracized
But the Jewish people are caught in a trap
Placed in an endless conflict in a stolen land
Some people who should know better avoid thinking
About who drove Palestinians into refugee camps
About the daily aggressions of apartheid laws
About the genocidal crime of collective punishment
Dismantling the Zionist state of Israel is the only way out
Creating a secular state in its place
Until then a continuing succession of Intifadas is inevitable
