Hanging in the balance as you wait
Working the process of recovery
You barely complain that I ever hear
Never expressing anything like self pity
That this diagnosis really sucks big time
Something no one understands better than you
If the universe listens to my plea
If fairness determines the outcome
If you are allowed to finally catch a break
The blood test results will come back normal
