assembling symbols
It's something I do by myself
Assembling symbols into instructions
Hand crafted at the keyboard
Adding content to a website
It's something I do for myself
Learning new vocabulary as I go
Pleased to see the pages appear
All about a certain nature preserve
Starting with what existed before me
Respecting the overall appearance
Engineering a mobile device adaptation
That challenge came first
Given a free hand to build it out
In keeping with the organization mission
Next I put together volunteer appreciation
Citizen science and the history of the place
And much more but almost all of it simple
Presenting text and images supplied by others
But now I feel a greater satisfaction
Having created self-guided exploration pages
